Rogers Park Coupon Project - 2014





.I arrived in Rogers Park - a suburb on the north side of Chicago and settled in.

I had just finished writing software for a company in Milwaukee and I had saved a little money.
Having left that job, I once again had time to work on a community project.
I thought about a coupon project and started to visit local businesses to see if they were interested.

I did get some interest and started looking for a printer and people to sell the books.
As this was happening, I tried to work with local Gov but was completely ignored.

Then, my funds dried up.
I had to go back to China and work again as a teacher for survival money.
My big take-away from this project was to not try to work with local government.

It will only slow things down and interfere with community.
After all, look at what they’ve done to America lately.
