Pakistan MCOC - 2023

Mother Care Orphan Centre - Pakistan

Alma passed away from dengue.
This should not have happened.

As part of the 1 million donors idea, I was contacted by some people running orphanages in northern Pakistan.

I’ve been to Pakistan.
There’s a lot of poverty and no positive community.
The culture has a stranglehold on the minds there and violence is extremely common.

During my visit to Karachi, people were shooting guns into the air to celebrate New Year and a man tried to put a lit match into my taxi’s gas tank.

The Us embassy was bombed on that day while my car was about 250 meters away.

A dangerous place at times. The MCOC is a Christian orphanage and some of the muslim majority there have some hate for Christians.

They bombed a church not long ago. But many Muslims are very supportive.

I hope to visit Ashbeel someday soon and lend some support to his work.

This is my friend Ashbeel and the little girl Alma.
He is working to help the children in his orphanage.
